Brunch then Beach Day

Today is the last full day with TOGrandson. So it will be a full day.

Brunch to begin with at Sorsi AND Morsi in St Kilda. Then elder TODaughter wanted to give away some clothing and TOGirl, younger TODaughter, and TOGreatgrandma made out like bandits, since elder TODaughter is a very particular dresser.

Time for the beach, St Kilda beach near Port Melbourne is a dog beach so every TO* and his dog (sic) went down. I, TOGuy, made an early exit, not wanting to get sunburnt, and having forgotten to bring my med's, so left to fill the loan car with fuel before its return, and get some lunch having left the prepared lunch I made with all the other TO*s.

After battling to find a petrol station, I was fed up and decided junk food was the easy option. Never thinking I would have to get the butcher paper and crayons out to explain to a numb nut van driver, that stopping across the drive through exit means I cannot leave. If I cannot leave, they cannot enter as the line will back up behind me. I swear I could hear the gears turning in their head as they processed these words.

Picked up the TO*s shortly thereafter and its back to the accommodation before we step out for a farewell dinner tonight.
